Laboratory of Forensics Biomechanics
Miloslav Vilímek,Head:
Workers:
Tomáš Goldmann PhD, Petr Tichý Ph.D.
Description:
Faculty of mechanical engineering, Czech technical university in Prague is by means of Department of mechanics, biomechanics and mechatronics engaged in forensic expertises from biomechanics.
Our laboratory is able to elaborate analysis, motion studies and simulation of the human locomotion by the request. These tasks may help to clarify some unknown factors caused mainly by criminal activities. The subject of our interest is particularly solution of "falls from a height" problem causation, motion analysis from delivered video records, dimensional analysis and others. The laboratory is also engaged in implant durability assessments.
Faculty of mechanical engineering, Czech technical university in Prague is registered in the list of Authorized Forensic Experts.
