Biotribology of joint replacements
Project description:
Project is aimed at the realistic simulation of wear tribology of human joints. Is evaluated wear of articular components of different material combinations of the contact surfaces. Kinematics and dynamics are set according to relevant ISO standards (ISO 14243 for Total Knee Replacements). In addition, experiments are conducted under conditions that represent the real activities of daily living.
